Joshua Wagner
Special Inspector

Josh was raised in Modesto, California.  He and his wife Nicki have four children two of which are twins.  Josh graduated from Dixie State College of Southern Utah with an Associates of Science in Geology and is currently completing his Bachelors of Science in Construction Management at Southern Utah University.

He has been in the Construction Materials Testing and Inspection industry for over four years. Josh has worked for Owens Geotechnical Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada and Landmark Testing and Engineering in St. George, Utah.

Some of Josh's projects in Las Vegas include: World Market Building #3 which included a 30' over-ex to slab completion containing 12,000 yards of concrete and a DR Horton 600 home subdivision including mass grading through infrastructure completion.

While at Landmark, Josh provided Special Inspections for the Canyonland Resort project near Lake Powell, Utah.  His duties on this 125 million dollar project included all rebar inspections, concrete testing and placement observations and soil testing.  He also performed Special Inspections for the following DFCM projects: Dixie State College Health Sciences Building, Southern Utah University student housing and the St. George 5 th District Courthouse.

  • National Institute of Construction and Engineering Technologies (Geotechnical Engineering Level 1)
  • International Code Counsel Spray-Applied Fireproofing Special Inspector
  • International Code Counsel Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
  • International Code Counsel Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
  • Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Control in Soil Density, Reduction and Concrete Sampling
  • American Concrete Institute Level 1
  • Shear wave Data Collection (creates a graphical image of the ground showing density therein using sound waves)
  • F Meter Data Collection (used on concrete slabs to show how level it is in predetermined spaced increments)
  • Seismic Monitoring Equipment
  • Asphalt Sampling, Testing, Burn off and Gradation
  • State of Utah Professional Licensing for Limited Inspector
